oṃ bhadraṃ karṇe’bhiḥ śṛṇuyāma’ devāḥ | bhadraṃ pa’śyemākṣabhiryaja’trāḥ | sthirairaṅgai”stuṣṭhuvāg-ṃ sa’stanūbhi’ḥ | vyaśe’ma devahi’taṃ yadāyu’ḥ | svasti na indro’ vṛddhaśra’vāḥ | svasti na’ḥ pūṣā viśvave’dāḥ | svasti nastārkṣyo ari’ṣṭanemiḥ | svasti no bṛhaspati’rdadhātu ||
oṃ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śānti’ḥ ||
oṃ nama’ste gaṇapa’taye | tvameva pratyakṣaṃ tattva’masi | tvameva kevalaṃ kartā’உsi | tvameva kevalaṃ dhartā’உsi | tvameva kevalaṃ hartā’உsi | tvameva sarvaṃ khalvida’ṃ brahmāsi | tvaṃ sākṣādātmā’உsi nityam || 1 ||
ṛ’taṃ vacmi | sa’tyaṃ vacmi || 2 ||
ava tvaṃ mām | ava’ vaktāram” | ava’ śrotāram” | ava’ dātāram” | ava’ dhātāram” | avānūcānama’va śiṣyam | ava’ paścāttā”t | ava’ purastā”t | avottarāttā”t | ava’ dakṣiṇāttā”t | ava’ cordhvāttā”t | avādharāttā”t | sarvato māṃ pāhi pāhi’ samantāt || 3 ||
tvaṃ vāṅmaya’stvaṃ cinmayaḥ | tvamānandamaya’stvaṃ brahmamayaḥ | tvaṃ saccidānandāஉdvi’tīyoஉsi | tvaṃ pratyakṣaṃ brahmā’si | tvaṃ ṅñānamayo viṅñāna’mayoஉsi || 4 ||
sarvaṃ jagadidaṃ tva’tto jāyate | sarvaṃ jagadidaṃ tva’ttastiṣṭhati | sarvaṃ jagadidaṃ tvayi laya’meṣyati | sarvaṃ jagadidaṃ tvayi’ pratyeti | tvaṃ bhūmirāpoஉnaloஉni’lo nabhaḥ | tvaṃ catvāri vā”kpadāni || 5 ||
tvaṃ guṇatra’yātītaḥ | tvam avasthātra’yātītaḥ | tvaṃ dehatra’yātītaḥ | tvaṃ kālatra’yātītaḥ | tvaṃ mūlādhārasthito’உsi nityam | tvaṃ śaktitra’yātmakaḥ | tvāṃ yogino dhyāya’nti nityam | tvaṃ brahmā tvaṃ viṣṇustvaṃ rudrastvamindrastvamagnistvaṃ vāyustvaṃ sūryastvaṃ candramāstvaṃ brahma bhūrbhuvaḥ svarom || 6 ||
gaṇādiṃ” pūrva’muccārya varṇādī”ṃ stadanantaram | anusvāraḥ pa’rataraḥ | ardhe”ndulasitam | tāre’ṇa ṛddham | etattava manu’svarūpam | gakāraḥ pū”rvarūpam | akāro madhya’marūpam | anusvāraścā”ntyarūpam | bindurutta’rarūpam | nāda’ḥ sandhānam | sagṃhi’tā sandhiḥ | saiṣā gaṇe’śavidyā | gaṇa’ka ṛṣiḥ | nicṛdgāya’trīcchandaḥ | śrī mahāgaṇapati’rdevatā | oṃ gaṃ gaṇapa’taye namaḥ || 7 ||
ekadantāya’ vidmahe’ vakratuṇḍāya’ dhīmahi |
tanno’ dantiḥ pracodayā”t || 8 ||
ekadantaṃ ca’turhastaṃ pāśama’ṅkuśadhāri’ṇam | rada’ṃ ca vara’daṃ hastairbibhrāṇa’ṃ mūṣakadhva’jam | rakta’ṃ lamboda’raṃ śūrpakarṇaka’ṃ raktavāsa’sam | rakta’gandhānu’liptāṅgaṃ raktapu’ṣpaiḥ supūji’tam | bhaktā’nukampi’naṃ devaṃ jagatkā’raṇamacyu’tam | āvi’rbhūtaṃ ca’ sṛṣṭyādau prakṛte”ḥ puruṣātpa’ram | eva’ṃ dhyāyati’ yo nityaṃ sa yogī’ yogināṃ va’raḥ || 9 ||
namo vrātapataye namo gaṇapataye namaḥ pramathapataye namasteஉstu lambodarāyaikadantāya vighnavināśine śivasutāya śrīvaradamūrtaye
namaḥ || 10 ||
etadatharvaśīrṣaṃ yoஉdhīte | sa brahmabhūyā’ya kalpate | sa sarvavighnai”rna bādhyate | sa sarvataḥ sukha’medhate | sa pañcamahāpāpā”t pramucyate | sāyama’dhīyāno divasakṛtaṃ pāpa’ṃ nāśayati | prātara’dhīyāno rātrikṛtaṃ pāpa’ṃ nāśayati | sāyaṃ prātaḥ pra’yuñjāno pāpoஉpā’po bhavati | dharmārthakāmamokṣa’ṃ ca vindati | idamatharvaśīrṣamaśiṣyāya’ na deyam | yo yadi mo’hād dāsyati sa pāpī’yān bhavati | sahasrāvartanādyaṃ yaṃ kāma’madhīte | taṃ tamane’na sādhayet || 11 ||
anena gaṇapatima’bhiṣiñcati | sa vā’gmī bhavati | caturthyāmana’śnan japati sa vidyā’vān bhavati | ityatharva’ṇavākyam | brahmādyācara’ṇaṃ vidyānna bibheti kadā’caneti || 12 ||
yo dūrvāṅku’rairyajati sa vaiśravaṇopa’mo bhavati | yo lā’jairyajati sa yaśo’vān bhavati | sa medhā’vān bhavati | yo modakasahasre’ṇa yajati sa vāñchitaphalama’vāpnoti | yaḥ sājya sami’dbhiryajati sa sarvaṃ labhate sa sa’rvaṃ labhate || 13 ||
aṣṭau brāhmaṇān samyag grā’hayitvā sūryavarca’svī bhavati | sūryagrahe ma’hānadyāṃ pratimāsannidhau vā japtvā siddhama’ntro bhavati | mahāvighnā”t pramucyate | mahādoṣā”t pramucyate | mahāpāpā”t pramucyate | mahāpratyavāyā”t pramucyate | sa sarva’vidbhavati sa sarva’vidbhavati | ya e’vaṃ veda | ityu’paniṣa’t || 14 ||
